Quotes: Friedrich Nietzsche

I came across the 1st quote this morning. Found it interesting enough to blog straightaway & was tempted to read up Nietzsche. Found more quotes, as follows below. Although personally, I may not subscribe to them, they are, as I said, interesting to me nonetheless.

"The true man wants two things: danger and play. For that reason he wants woman, as the most dangerous plaything."

"Anyone who despises himself will still respect himself as a despiser."

"What is done out of love always takes place beyond good and evil."

"Madness is the exception in individuals but the rule in groups."

"The sick are the greatest danger for the healthy; it is not from the strongest that harm comes to the strong, but from the weakest."

"What is good? All that heightens the feeling of power in man, the will to power, power itself. What is bad? All that is born of weakness. What is happiness? The feeling that power is growing, that resistance is overcome."

"Love is a state in which a man sees things most decidedly as they are not."

On a separate note, today is Friday & weekend beckons again. I have this urge to watch a movie, TMNT tops the list. Haven't been to the movies for nearly a month. Hopefully, something can be worked out, even if I go see it alone.

Till later, live long & prosper.
