Invasion KL ?!

ZOMG! We can hear the sound of jets around KL air space! Military 'copters flying around (refer photo)! Padang Merbok area filled with transport vehicles carrying many uniformed people! Is this the supposed march by Anwar, the PM in-waiting, to Parliament. Kenapa-Lah tidak ada warning daripada kerajaan?... dia tido kot.

Actually, it's just the participants practising for the Independence Day (Merdeka Day) parade at Dataran Merdeka.

On a more serious note, although there are no roadblocks post Anwar Ibrahim victory in Permatang Pauh by-election yesterday, there are instead road diversions at areas near Dataran Merdeka due to the Merdeka Day parade practice session this morning. This resulted in many people arriving late to the office, including few colleagues in the department I work in. Luckily, Mark arrives at work between 7am - 0730 when the road diversions have yet to commence.
