Spain Triumphant

For all you Spanish team fans, here’s an anecdote that will bring a smile to your face.

Spanish media has interpreted a script authored by the seer Nostradamus to mean that the Spanish will be bringing the 2006 World Cup trophy back to Madrid. The script reads:

“In the end of the sixth month of 2006, the King of Spain will cross the Pyrenees with his army. The legions will win the battle in the center of Europe, and the triumphant king will take the Holly Grail back to Spain.”

I am sure Sven, Klinsmann, Lippi, Scolari, Pekerman, Parreira, Van Basten & a few others will beg to differ. Click here to read the Sofia News Agency article on it.
