Blues no Mour

When I 1st heard the news for our new colleague Apu, the Chelsea fan this morning, I quickly accessed Teamtalk.com to verify it. Alas, there was nothing on Teamtalk. However, BBC reported that according its Radio 5live football correspondent Jonathan Legard, Jose Mourinho has left Chelsea FC. Initially, BBC reported that there was no official word from the Premier League club, but the article was subsequently updated when the following brief statement appeared on Chelsea's website: 'Chelsea Football Club and Jose Mourinho have agreed to part company today (Thursday) by mutual consent.' CNN also reported on the supposed Special One's exit.

Oh well, so now it's back to a 2-way bickering between the Fiery Scot & our (the Gunners') Le Professor.

So long, Jose Mourinho. It was 'fun' while you were at Chelski. Nevertheless, I don't think with the vast talent accumulated via Roman's wealth, Chelski will suffer a severe dip in form with Mourinho's exit. Whoever takes over can still count on more moolah to strengthen the team as he sees fit. It'll probably be someone who plays the team in the way Roman likes & plays the player(s) whom Roman favours too (& it ain't Kalou).

Hmm, it ain't easy having a Russian owner. Arsenal take note.

At the very least, we still have our Jose here in the Organization. ;)

Till later, live long & prosper.

  1. BBC and telegraph.co.uk were quick to announce the departure of the 'Special One'.
